First meeting of celebration committee held

The first meeting of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Birth Centenary Celebration National Implementation Committee was held at International Mother Language Institute (IMLI) yesterday to make elaborate programnmes successful.

Members of the committee dwelt on different aspects of the elaborate programmes taken for celebration of birth centenary of Bangabandhu.

Information Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud, Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni, Textile and Jute Minister Golam Dastagir Gazi, Science and Technology Minister Architect Yeafesh Osman, State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid, State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shahriar Alam, State Minister for Public Administration Farhad Hossain, State Minister for Cultural Affairs KM Khalid, State Minister for Primary and Mass Education Md Zakir Hossain, Deputy Minister for Education Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury Nowfel and other members, including secretaries, cultural personalities, journalists and heads of different organizations, among others, were present at the meeting.
