Parliament will go into its eighth session on November 8, after over a month’s of recess, reports UNB.
President M Abdul Hamid convened the session. The House will go into session at 4:30pm on the day, said a Parliament Secretariat handout yesterday.
Before the House goes into session at 4:30pm, the business advisory committee of parliament will meet with Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury in the chair to fix the duration and businesses of the coming session.
The session is likely to see the passage of some important bills, including the one allowing registered political parties to nominate candidates in local body elections, Parliament sources said.
