50 illegal structures removed

District administration yesterday removed 50 illegal structures from footpaths in Habiganj town. District administration has taken the initiative following a decision taken by law and order committee in the district held on October 11.
Executive magistrate Mehdi Hasan led the eviction drive with the cooperation of Habiganj police administration. The establishments include fruits shops, toys shop, and grocery. Habiganj Municipality councilors Mahbubul Haque Helal, Abdul Awal Majnu, municipal secretary Nure Alam Siddiqui, executive engineer Madhusudan Das, SI AKM Rassel and municipal staff union president Siddhartha Biswas were present during the drive.
