Dr. Ejajul Islam, an eminent actor in small and big screens and winner of National Film Award, is receiving audience-admiration for his ongoing health-awareness drama serial Shastho Mama that is aired on RTV. With the aim to raise health awareness among the audience, Dr. Ejajul Islam has scripted and directed the drama serial.
What makes the drama serial interesting is that after the end of each episode, Dr. Ejajul Islam offers health tips to the audience following the theme of that episode.
The drama serial casts Faruque Ahmed, Shamima Nazneen, Hosne Ara Putul and Shatodal Barua Bilu, among others, in different roles while Ejajul Islam is playing the main character of Shastho Mama.
About the theme of the drama serial, Dr. Ejajul Islam said, The intention of the drama serial is to give the audience entertainment and alongside raise awareness on health issues by giving health tips. I am grateful to RTV and ACI ORS for keeping this drama serial on the roll. I am also thankful to the artistes for playing out their roles so efficiently.
Regarding his work under Ejajul Islams direction, Faruque Ahmed said, I always like working under my friend Ejajuls direction. Also, I have a keen interest in working in social-awareness projects and I feel comfort in it.
Talking about the casts, National Film Award winning actress Putul said, Ejajul Islam is one of my favourite artistes and we have worked in multiple projects under Humayun sirs (Humayun Ahmed) direction. I am enjoying my work in Shastho Mama as the whole unit is like a family to me.
