Gram Police form human chain to press 4-pt demand

The local unit of Bangladesh Gram Police Karmochari Union (BGKU) formed a human chain and held a discussion in the district town yesterday to press home their four-point demand, including salary and benefit similar to 4th class government employees. The other demands include retirement allowance, food ration as given to Police and Ansar forces and effective draft rules of Gram Police force, which was created in 2013. They later submitted a memorandum to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina through the deputy commissioner’s office.   President of Bogra district Gram Police Union Bishwanath Dash and Secretary Md Abu Sayed addressed the human chain formed  at Satmatha Zero Point in the town.
