Abahani along with Legends of Rupganj meanwhile confirmed their respective place in the Super League with the identical 14 points what they chalked up from eight outings. Prime Doleshwar, who are languishing at third place, will seal their place if they can win the match. But it they lose the match, in that case, they have to wait for the next match.

Cricket Committee of Dhaka Metropolis (CCDM) swapped the venue of the match for its significance. It has been brought back from Fatullah’s Khan Shaheb Osman Ali to Mirpur’s Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium (SBNCS).

Both Abahani and Doleshwar held their pre-match day practice session at the two sides of the national academy of the SBNCS in Mirpur yesterday.

Ranji-playing Indian batsman Priyank Kirit Panchal will play first time for Abahani, who will get the service of pace all-rounder Mohammad Saifuddin, who did not play for them for the last few matches due to his injury.

Along with that, the service of the wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Mithun might be got in the match against Doleshwar.

Abahani captain Mosaddek Hossain Saikat spoke to media after their practice session, where he said that they will play the match sticking to their previous plan and process.

“Actually every match in Premier League is important. We’ve nothing to say new things about tomorrow’s match against Prime Doleshwar Sporting Club,” said Mosaddek Hossain Saikat.

“We consider the match what we have come to play the erstwhile matches. The plan and process we are playing and moving forward want to stick to that,” Saikat told media.

“Here all are experienced sides barring one-two team. Every team has good players. The match will be competitive that’s normally true,” he added. When asked about its tomorrow’s opponent, Saikat said that they are good as a side so the match will be competitive.

“They (Doleshwar) are good as a side. There is no doubt about it. All are watching how we are doing as a team. Actually we have nothing to think about them,” he responded.

“I believe the potential we have if we can give 80 percent of it, we can easily win the match,” he added.

On the other hand, Prime Doleshwar fast bowler Abu Jayed Chowdhury Rahi also spoke to media about tomorrow’s match against reigning champions. He said that every opponent attempts their best to triumph match against Abahani because of its magnitude.

“Every match is important against Abahani (Limited). As our team does well against Abahani, this match is very important for it. We will go ahead if we can triumph the match against them,” Abu Jayed Rahi said.

“Every team gives an extra effort against Abahani. It will not be exceptional in case of us. We’ll try to play better more against Abahani. If we can play better against them, we can be focused on more,” Rahi told sports reporters.

However, second-placed Legends of Rupganj will take on Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club at the BKSP Ground-4, while Uttara Sporting Club will face off Khelaghar Samaj Kallayan Samity at the Khan Shaheb Osman Ali Stadium in Fatulllah.
