Brothers demand point share with MSC

The Cricket Committee of Dhaka Metropolis (CCDM), the apex body of the countrys domestic cricket club received a letter from Brothers Union what they sent demanding the sharing of point of the eight-round fixture on Tuesday.
The Gopibagh-based club complained in their letter that they are not properly informed by match umpires to play the match.
CCDM-in-charge Tawhid Mahmood told media at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium (SBNCS) in Mirpur yesterday.
Weve received a letter from Brothers Union, where they demanded to share the points of the eight-round match with Mohammedan Sporting Club, said Tawhid Mahmood.
Now we are waiting for the report of the match referee Akhtar Ahmad. Were yet to get it, Mahmood told media.
The matter will then be put forward in the technical committee, whose chairman Kazi Inam Ahmed, convener BCB director Jalal Younus, its member Umpires committee chairman and its member secretary, CCDM member secretary and its in charge. If it is not settled in the technical committee, itll then be referred to BCB disciplinary committee, he added.
However, Mohammedan Sporting Club piled up a challenging total of 316-9 in 50 overs after being put in to bat on BKSP batting track. Thereafter, the rains interrupted the proceeding of the second innings. As a result, a revised target of 174 in 20 overs has been given to Brothers Union as per the DLS method.
But Brothers refused to play in the plea of not to inform them properly by none of the match umpires and match referee. Later Mohammedan were awarded the match.
Now Motijheel-based team is languishing at fifth place on the points-table with eight points from eight round tie. But they are yet to confirm their place in the Super League.
