India's popular film actor Sanjay Dutt met Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at her official residence Ganabhaban yesterday evening. Prime Minister's Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim briefed reporters after the meeting. During the meeting, Sanjay Dutta handed over a number of photos of an Indian cultural delegation, which they had taken with Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and his family members immediate during their visit to Bangladesh immediately after the Liberation War. Lata Mangeshkar, Sanjay's father eminent Indian film actor Sunil Dutt were, among others, in the cultural delegation that met Bangabandhu, the Press Secretary said.
The Prime Minister recalled India's unequivocal support to the Liberation War of Bangladesh. PM's Private Industry and Investment Adviser Salman F Rahman and Information Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud were present.
