Ensure proper treatment for Banani fire victims: PM

Expressing deep shock at the loss of lives and property in a devastating fire at FR Tower in the city's Banani area, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina yesterday asked the authorities concerned to ensure the proper treatment of the injured. PM's Press Secretary Ihsanul Karim said the Prime Minister is in touch with the authorities concerned over the rescue operation and the treatment of the injured. Sheikh Hasina earlier directed the armed forces and the law enforcement agencies to work in coordination with the fire service in extinguishing the fire and carrying out the rescue operation.
