NSU Computer Club
North South University Computer Club (NSUCC) started its journey in 1994 with a clear motivation to introduce the students with ICT arena. In continuation, NSUCC is now one of the biggest and most successful clubs in North South University by every means starting from human resources to its different activities over the years ever since the club was started with hundreds of active members from all different discipline within NSU.
One of the very unique and important qualities about this club is that this is the only club in North South University that provides a vital platform for all those students who are interested in Information Technology. The club offers a grand chance of exchanging and learning detailed information about IT for students who are interested in building up their career in the particular field. Students here can interact with all the other students who are enthusiastic about the same profession. Club activities among students help them make friends with a huge number of people of the university from different batches through this club.
North South University Computer Club (NSUCC) is the only club in NSU, which tries to integrate the students with the ICT industry. Since 1994, NSUCC has been working for encouraging the students to serve their community for promoting high standards in technical, industrial, professional, public and private endeavors. NSUCC also develops international relationships through facilitating international events like ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest, ICCIT (International Conference on Computer and Information Technology) and Online Video Conference with renowned Bangladeshi IT professionals from different parts of the world. NSU IT Expo, Techno fun fair, NSU Genius Hunt are the main programs organised by the club while seminars, workshops are the regular events. From Fall11 NSUCC has set a completely new dimension to the most exciting event called Cyber Athletics which is now one of the largest gaming competitions in Bangladesh where participants take part from all over the country. Besides, members of the club have been taking part in different national and international events such as ACM -ICPC with success.
With seven executive bodies and about 70 active members, Computer club is moving forward with new segments and ideas. Members are always welcome to come up with their own ideas on different events and programs. Thus, every single member becomes an important part of NSUCC. On the other hand, in every semester there is something thrilling and enjoying moments come into real only for the members like games, tour or even BBQ party !
