The State Minister for Fisheries and Livestock Md Ashraf Ali Khan Khasru, MP on Tuesday said none will be able to delete the names of freedom fighters from the history as they liberated the country from the occupation of Pakistani military forces.
“Freedom fighters are the heroic sons of the soil as they fought against the Pakistani armed forces keeping their mind-set ready to sacrifice their lives…many of them laid down their lives fighting with the military forces for freeing the country from the occupation of the Pak-army in response to the call of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman,” said Khasru, a valiant freedom fighter.
The state minister was addressing as the chief guest at the reception accorded to the freedom fighters and family members of the martyred freedom fighters at a local public hall here.
Netrakona district administer gave the reception to them on the occasion of the Independence and National Day. Chaired by deputy commissioner of Netrakona Main-UL-Islam, the function was addressed, among others, by Habiba

League leaders, including Advocate Amirul Islam and Gazi Muzammel Hussain Tuku.
Khasru underlined the need for forging greater unity among the pro-liberation forces including the freedom fighters for upholding the spirit of Liberation War for foiling the evil designs of the anti-liberation forces.
