Woman killed by �son�

A woman was stabbed to death allegedly by her son at Kamal Tower of Mohora under Chandagaon police station of city on Tuesday.
The deceased was identified as Rowsan Ara, 60, wife of Enamul Haque, who hailed from Companyganj of Noakhali.
 “At around 8:30pm Zahirul Haque Sabuj, 22, allegedly killed his mother Rowsan Ara, by stabbing at their rented house in the port city,” said Shairul Islam, officer-in-charge of Chandagaon police station.
 “Sabuj was a cancer patient. He stabbed his mother from mental disturbance, the Officer-in-charge (OC) added.
On information a team of Chandagaon police rushed to the spot and recovered the body.
The body was sent to Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) for autopsy,” added Shairul.
He remained absconding after the incident, said Shairul.
