Russia urged to help set up training institute

State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid Bipu yesterday asked for Russian involvement and investment to establish a training institute for energy efficiency.
During a meeting with Russian Ambassador to Bangladesh Alexander A Nikolaev at the secretariat, the state minister asked the russian ambassador to expand Russian aids in different sector of Bangladesh’s energy sector.
Nikolaev had also expressed Russia’s interest to expand its involvement in Bangladesh’s energy sector. During a meeting, the Russian Ambassador handed over a letter, expressing different interests of Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak to Nasrul Hamid.
