One killed in Bagerhat clash

A man, who sustained injuries in a clash over family feud at Mohishpura Uttar Char village on Wednesday night, died at Khulna Medical College Hospital yesterday morning. The deceased was identified as Shaheen Sarder, 17, son of Abul Kalam Sardar. K M Azizul Islam, officer-in-charge of Morelganj Police Station, said that Abul Kalam Sarder had a longstanding dispute with his neighbour and also relative Titu Sheikh. Over a trifling matter, a clash ensued between two the groups around 8pm Wednesday, leaving eight people, including Shaheen, injured. The injured were admitted to different hospitals.
