Internationally acclaimed singer Runa Laila, who has enthralled her audience with a huge number of popular songs, has shown her expertise in the realm of music composition as well.
Tani Laila, the singer’s daughter, is all set to return to the music industry after 14 years. Her mother composed music for her comeback song.
As part of the initiative taken by the Dhurba Music Station, a selected group of young generation singers will come together and separately sing under Runa Laila’s music compositions.
As a part of this group, Tania Laila has lent her voice to the song ‘Ami Keno Tomaire Hoye Gechi Por’.
Written by eminent lyricist Gazi Mazharul Anwar, London-based Raja Kaasheff has done the music arrangement for the song.
DhakaLive has news that the recording of the song was done at Raja Kaasheff’s studio ‘High Street’ in London on March 10.
Runa Laila said, “As a few singers will sing under my music direction, I wanted to associate Tani with the project. When I asked her if she could lend her voice to my music, she agreed with a lot of enthusiasm. I have tried to compose the music accordingly.”
“Overall, Tani sang very well and I am happy with her performance. I hope everyone will like her song,” he added.
After a long time, Runa Laila has also sung a new song ‘Ferate Parini Aar Tomake A Bhalobasay’, written by famous lyricist Kabir Bakul. The song and the music video will be released by Dhruba Music Station very soon.
Runa Laila, who is currently in London, will return to the country by the end of this month.
