LCBS Dhaka to vie in CIMA Global Business Challenge
The Limerick College of Business Studies (LCBS) Dhaka team-Contrivers--has got the card to take part in the global competition, as the team has triumphed in the Bangladesh chapter of the CIMA-2015 Global Business Challenge, which was held in partnership with Barclays at a hotel in the capital on Friday, says a press release.
Alpha Squad of United International University (UIU) became second while the Institute of Business Administration, University of Dhaka, finished with third place in the country final.
Contrivers will now represent Bangladesh at the global final in Warsaw, Poland, is scheduled to be held on August 4-7, which is designed to showcase the very best in the next generation of business leaders.
The CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants) Global Business Competition is an international business challenge. The competition takes place in over 25 countries and is open for all full-time undergraduate students. The teams are given a real-life CIMA business scenario to analyze. In 2015, already 25 countries have registered for the competition.
