Prof. Dr. Hafiz's new book on infertility

The latest book of renowned poet,-short story-science writer and novelist Principal Prof. Dr. Hafizuddin Ahmed titled 'Nihshontan Dompotir Chikitsha O Bondhyatto Protirodh' (Treatment of Childless Parents And Prevention of Infertility) has been published from Ayan Prokashan recently. It is a valuable book containing 13 chapters depicting various aspects of infertility, its latest treatments &prevention and created much attraction in recent Book Fair. Prof. Dr. Sayed Anwar Hussain, ex-D.G. Bangla Academy unveiled the cover of the book on March 2, 2019 at Bangla Academy Boi Mela.

He praised the author for his for his life long devotion and pioneering for introducing Bengali in the medical field since Pakistan time. He also thanked him for writing so many books on vital topics in mother tongue most of which were published from Bangla Academy. It may be mentioned that Prof.

Hafiz received best science writer award from Bangla Academy in 2004.He is author of first book on SARS in the world and wrote first original book in General Surgery in Bengali published in 2 volumes from Bangla Academy (অ্A‡¯¿vcvPv‡ii Kjv †KŠkj ). Besides Bangla Academy and Shishu Academy his works are published from WHO-Geneva, UK, USA, France, India etc.
