Man killed in road crash

An elderly man was killed in a road accident at Baradadpur village in Gomastapur upazila on Sunday.
The deceased was identified Moslem Uddin, 70, a resident of Mohadanga village in Porsha upazila. Sub-inspector Bazlur Rahman of Gomostapur Police Station said that the accident took place around 8am when a picnic bus hit a human hauler on which Moslem were travelling, leaving him dead on the spot.
Police recovered the body from the spot, he added.
