Two men stabbed by information officer

Two people were injured in an attack by district information officer in Khagrachhari sadar upazila yesterday morning.  The two were identified as Abdul Hannan, 60, a vendor and Jahangir Alam, 45. OC of sadar police Shamsuddin Bhuiyan said the incident occurred at district and session judge court premises at  11.00am when district information officer Anwar Hossain, who is undergoing trial, became suddenly violent attacked people, leaving Abdul Hannan injured critically. One Jahangir Alam was also injured in the attack. Later, local people rescued the both injured and sent them to Khagrachhari Adhunik Sadar Hospital.  A case was filed with sadar police station accusing Anwar Hossain, the OC said.
