Pabna: A court yesterday placed four people on a five-day remand each in a case filed for killing a policeman in Ishawardi upazila, reports UNB. They are identified as Khokon Hossain, 32, Jony Pramanik, 21, Masud Rana, 25, and Setu Hossain, 26, of the upazila. Judge of Pabna Cognizance court-2 Rejaul Karim passed the order when sub-inspector of Ishwardi police Abu Wabayed, also investigation officer of the case, produced them before the court seeking a 10-day remand for each. Assistant sub-inspector of Pakshi police camp Sujaul Islam, 35, hailing from sadar upazila of Bogra district, was found dead at a field near Pakshi Paper Mill in Pakshi upazila of the district on the morning of October 5.
