Trader’s body recovered

Police recovered the hanging body of a trader at Nazirpur Natunpara village in Gurudaspur upazila yesterday.

The deceased was identified as Abul Kalam, a mortgage trader of the village.

Kalam remained missing since he went out of home around 9pm on Monday, said Sub-inspector Shahidul Islam of Gurudaspur Police Station, quoting family members.

Later in Tuesday morning, locals found Kalam’s body hanging from a tree at a Litchi orchard in the village and informed police.
