Youth held with yaba

Police yesterday arrested a youth along with 1,500 pieces of contraband yaba tablets from Shah Amanat Bridge area under Bakalia police station in Chittagong. The arrestee was  Aman Ullah, 19. Acting on a tip-off, police raided a Dhaka-bound bus coming from Cox’s Bazar at Shah Amant Bridge around 2am arrested Aman with 1,500 yaba tablets, confirmed Mohammad Mohsin, officer-in-charge (OC) of Bakalia Police Station. A case was lodged against the arrestee with the respective police station under Narcotic Control Act, added the OC.
