Farid Ahmed comes up with 7 patriotic songs

On the eve of International Mother Language Day this year, eminent music director Farid Ahmed has come up with seven patriotic songs. DhakaLive has news that Farid Ahmed has done the music composition and arrangement of all these new songs.  Out of these, six songs are scheduled to be aired on Bangladesh Betar today.

The seven songs are ‘Ekush Kebol Ekush Noy’ by singer Rafiqul Alam, ‘Polasher Diney’ by Andrew Kishore, ‘Shabdo Aha Shabdo’ by Samina Chowdhury, ‘Sor Benjoney Jey Lipi Sajano’ by Rumana Islam, ‘Agni Dogdho Fagun Amra’ by Dinat Jahan Munni and Sabbir, ‘Ek Shokal Ek Jhak Guli’ by Champa Bonik and Yusuf, while Rezwana Choudhury Bannya has lent her vocal to ‘Ami Kotha Boli Ei Matir Jonno’.

The lyrics of all songs are penned down by noted lyricist Mohammad Rafiquzzaman.
