Garo domestic help raped in capital

A 16-year-old Garo domestic help was raped reportedly by her employer in the city's Gulshan area yesterday. The victim was admitted to the one-stop crisis centre of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH), said sub-inspector Bachchu Mia, in-charge of the DMCH police outpost.

Victim's cousin who works as a cook at a foreign mission said the girl hailing from Sherpur had been working at the house of Yusuf at Kalachandpur for the last one month. Both Yusuf and his wife are tailors.
