A medical team of Indian Border Security Force (BSF) has reached Dhaka aiming to visit the hospitals of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB).
During the four-day visit, the five-member BSF medical team will also observe the medical service activities of the BGB. The five-member delegation led by Dr Tapan Biswas, inspector general of BSF (Medical), landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Tuesday, said a BGB press release issued yesterday.
Colonel Nazrul Islam Khan, commanding officer of BGB Hospital, Dhaka welcomed them at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport. As part of the visit, the BSF medical team met with acting BGB DG Brigadier General A F M Jahangir Alam at his office at the BGB headquarters at Philkhana yesterday morning.
After the meeting, BSF team had visited BGB hospital in the city. They are set to visit Thakurgaon BGB Hospital today.
