Bachelors win big in hockey

Bachelors Sporting Club won big in the Green Delta Insurance First Division Hockey League as they thrashed Shishu Kishore Sangha 4-0 at the Maulana Bhashani National Hockey Stadium in the capital yesterday. Naimur, Mozammel, Reza and Harveer Singh netted one each for Bachelors.

In the other match of the day at the same venue, PWD Sporting Club edged Combined Sporting Club by 1-0 with Parimal scoring the all-important goal.

Shantinagar SC will face Dilkhusha SC at 1:30pm, while Farashganj SC will lock horns with Mukta Bihanga Tarun Sangha at 3:30pm today.
