Padatik Natya Sangsad (TSC) will stage their much-acclaimed play ‘Gohonjatra’ today at 7 pm at the National Theatre Hall of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy (BSA) in the Segun Bagicha of the capital.
The play has been penned down by Rubayet Ahmed and directed by Sudip Chakraborty, while the hour-long monologue is enacted by Shamsi Ara Syka. The story of the play evolves around the dangers of intolerance, violence, global political dynamics and the universal aspiration for peace and freedom.
In the story of the play, extremism grows in one place of a country. The followers of the extremism negate the existing ideologies and indulge in destruction and violence.
