Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in a drive held an alleged drug peddler and seized 100 kilograms of hemp from Ninguin Sukhi area on the Natore-Bogra highway in Singra upazila yesterday morning. The arrested man is Mizanur Rahman, 32, a resident of Shimultoli village in Phulbari upazila of Kurigram district. On a tip-off, a team of RAB conducted the drive in the area at about 8.30 am and held Mizanur with the hemp, said Commander of Crime Prevention Special Company, RAB-5, Major Abdur Rahim. A case has been filed in this connection.
