Probe report submission on Dec 7

A Dhaka court yesterday fixed December 7 for submitting the probe report on much-talked about Sagar-Runi murder case. Metropolitan Magistrate M Yunus Khan passed the order as Investigation Officer of the case Wares Ali, Assistant Police Super (ASP) of the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) failed to submit the probe report before the court yesterday, reports BSS. Earlier, the Investigation Officer submitted a progress report of the case on December 30, 2014 before the court instead of the probe report. According to the report, the officer recorded statements of 158 witnesses and inquired 27 journalists drawing from electronic and print media.
