Police arrested two officers of Bangladesh Krishi Bank (BKB) early yesterday in connection with corruption cases filed by Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) in the town. The arrested bank officers are Ali Ahmmad, an inhabitant of Boshpara in Jamalpur sadar upazila and Habibur Rahman, a resident of Teghuria in Madarganj upazila of the district. Police arrested Habibur Rahman from his Amlapara residence in the town and Ali Ahmmad from his Boshpara home. Police said Ali Ahmmad and Habibur Rahman during their working hour at BKB Madarganj branch as branch manager and second officer respectively involved in various irregularities and corruption. Following an investigation, the ACC filed six cases against Ali Ahmmad and five cases against Habibur Rahman in 2012.
