Woman’s tendon cut

OUR CORRESPONDENT, Patuakhali

Criminals cut tendon of left hand of a woman on Madrasa road in Kalapara municipality on Saturday. Tahmina Begum, 35, of Amirabad village in the upazila, came under attack while she was going on a rickshaw to a relative’s house. A gang of criminals intercepted her and stabbed her. At one stage, they cut her left hand’s tendon. Hearing scream local people rushed to the spot and took her to upazila health complex in critical condition. But the doctor there referred her to Barisal Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital, said Azizur Rahman, OC of Kalapara police.
