Youth Cricket League (YCL) for the 2018-2019 season will get underway at two different host cities across the country today.
This year Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) Games Development Committee is organizing the league for the youth in place of BCB Tournament Committee.
The seven divisions and Dhaka Metro, splitting into four zonal teams including North, South, East and West will compete against each other. They will play two youth Tests alongside four one-day matches.
The players of the teams travelled to their respective venue grounds on January 20, three days before the tournament, which comprises of four dayers and one-day affairs.
The final will be held on 50-over match.
