Draft of president’s speech to be placed today

The draft of the President’s speech would be placed at the first cabinet meeting of the Sheikh Hasina government today (Monday). The cabinet meeting would be held at the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), with PM Sheikh Hasina in the chair. Five other points on the agenda—the draft of the Representation of the People (Amendment) Act, 2019; draft of the Brick Manufacturing and Brick Kilns Establishment (Control) Act, 2019; draft of the National Social Welfare Council Act, 2018; draft of the BITAC Act, 2018; and National Strategic Plan on Autism Affairs would be placed at the meeting.
