Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen yesterday said Japan wants Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's presence in the International Conference on the Future of Asia to be held this year in Japan. Bangladesh also sought continued support from Japan to achieve its development goals and discussed ways to strengthen the relations between the two countries. "We hope the relations between Bangladesh and Japan will be strengthened," Japanese Ambassador in Dhaka Hiroyasu Izumi told reporters after his meeting with Foreign Minister Dr Momen.
