Former cricketers urge national team now to think about win

Yusuf Rahman Babu, one of the former prolific cricketers in the early 70s thinks the Bangladesh cricket team, who developed a lot, now should look forward to win match.
Yusuf Rahman Babu, who was well known as Yusuf Babu, while had a get together with some of his former team mates, who were also very prominent and led the Bangladesh national cricket side recollected their memories of their playing live yesterday, at the Bangladesh Sports Journalists Association (BSJA) office in the capital yesterday.
Organised by BSJA, the former cricketers A SM Faruque, Roquibul Hassan, Shafiqul Haque Hera, Ishtiaque Ahmed, Md Quamruzzaman (veteran sports journalist), Nazmul Noor Robin, Jalal Ahmed Chowdhury (cricket coach and sports journalist) were telling their tale of early of cricket in Bangladesh and also the then East Pakistan.
All the cricketers remembered some of the happy memories and also shocking stories while they were sharing with the media persons for almost two hours.
Roquibul Hassan, Yusuf Babu, Ishtiaque, all of them described some of their interesting moments of their playing life and also the story behind becoming cricketers.
Quamruzzaman, Roquibul, Yusuf Babu, Hira, ASM Faruque, also said the story how they were deprived during Pakistan periods, despite there were so much talented players in the then East Pakistan but they could not get chance in the Pakistan team.
They also said, even the Pakistani selectors giving chance the West Pakistani in East Pakistan team denying the players of East Pakistan.   
However, now the cricket of Bangladesh reached to a stage as they think, “Now Bangladesh is a very strong side in world cricket, all the opponents count them in ODI. So they should now change their attitude, accomplish the winning tendency in all format of the game,” said the former cricketers.
