Capital market fair in Ctg begins tomorrow

The fifth CSE Capital Market Fair 2015 will begin from tomorrow (October 8) at GEC Convention Centre in the city.
The aim of the two-day fair is to exchange capital market related information, Wali-ul-Maruf Matin, managing director of the CSE, said this while addressing a press conference on the fair.
“We would like to equip the general investors with the required knowledge on share market. Capital market is a knowledge-based business. During the fair, investors will be able to interact with the officials of listed companies and know their products and services, progress of business activities and its future expansion programme, update on latest financial information, corporate governance,” said Matin.
“A total of 98 stalls will showcase their products and services in the fair. Some 33 TREC holders of the CSE are participating in the fair showcasing 65 stalls. Besides, 17 companies from different sectors listed in the CSE are participating in the fair with 25 stalls”, informed the MD of the CSE.
 “We expect a gathering of about 15,000-20,000 including investors from different strata,’’ hoped Matin.
The fair is open to all from 10am till 8pm.
