Centre for Zakat Management gets UAE�s Islamic Economy Award

Centre for Zakat Management (CZM), an organisation involved in collection and distribution of Zakat and Sadaqua funds, has received Islamic Economy Award, reports UNB.
On behalf of CZM, Niaz Rahim received the award from Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, vice-president and prime minister of the  UAE and Ruler of Dubai,  at the inaugural ceremony of the second edition of the Global Islamic Economy Summit (GIES) in Dubai  on Monday.
Over 2,000 policymakers, thinkers and business leaders gathered to take part in the two-day summit hosted by the Dubai Chamber, the Dubai Islamic Economy Develop-ment Centre (DIEDC), and Thomson Reuters.
Centre for Zakat Management (CZM) was given the award for their outstanding performance and contribution to the poor.
