2 minor girls found dead in capital

Police recovered two bodies of four-year-old girls from ground floor of the seven storey building in Shahjalal road area in Demra of the capital yesterday night. The deceased were identified as Nursat, 4, daughter of Palash and Dola Akhter, 4, daughter of Faridul of the area.

On information, police recovered the bodies from the ground floor of the building, aid Siddiqur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Demra Police Station.

It is assumed that the girls were tortured and strangled to death as injuries found in different parts of the bodies, the OC added.
