41 arrested in city

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) arrested 41 people on charges of selling and consuming drugs in separate anti-narcotic drives in the capital in 24 hours till 6:am yesterday. Detective Branch of Police in association with other law enforcers carried out the drives at different places in the city and seized 894 pieces of yaba tablets, 179 grams of heroin, 15 bottles of phensidyl and 150 grams of cannabis, according to a DMP statement issued yesterday.
