Hearing on Khaleda’s bail plea Jan 16

A court here yesterday deferred until January 16 the hearing on charge-framing and a bail petition filed by Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Chairperson Khaleda Zia in a murder case filed over the killing of eight people in an arson attack on a bus here in 2015. Acting Additional District and Session's Judge Habibur Rahman passed the order, said public prosecutor Advocate Mostafizur Rahman Liton.

Eight people were killed and at least 20 others injured in a petrol bomb attack on a bus at Jogmohanpur in Chouddagram upazila on February 3, 2015 during the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP)-led alliance's movement.

Two cases were filed against Khaleda Zia in this connection.
