Rajshahi University reopens today

The academic activities of Rajshahi University (RU) will resume today after 9-day winter vacation. The classes of first year honours courses under 2018-19 academic session will begin on January 21.
University Public Relation Officer Prof Probhash Kumar Karmakar confirmed the matter through press release. The release further said the admission deadline including migration have been rescheduled on January 25. The dormitories on the campus opened on Thursday. However, RU students have already been back on the campus after the winter vacation.
Noted, this year a total of 1, 47,750 students have been nominated to seat for exam against 4700 seats under the 9 Faculties while test was held on October 24-26.
WUB greetings speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin

Vice-Chancellor of World University of Bangladesh (WUB) Prof Abdul Mannan Chowdhury greeted speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury for being elected as MP in the 11th parliamentary election, says a press release.
The other members were-- Prof M Nurul Islam, Pro-Vice Chancellor; Morsheda Choudhury, Treasurer; Prof Mushfiq Mannan Choudhury, Chief Adviser; Prof Abdus Salam Molla, Registrar and Kazi Nazrul Islam, Proctor, World University of Bangladesh.
