Eminent music director Mainul Islam Khan usually doesn’t compose music for any singer, if the singer’s vocal can’t please him enough. Following the trend of his very own, the noted musician has tuned two songs for a newbie singer named Fabiha.
Interestingly, the very experienced musician and the young singer met just few days ago. Mainul Islam attended a stage show of Kanak Chapa in Australia and there, in Newcastle, he met Bangladeshi-expatriate singer Fabiha Zaman Siddique. Being fascinated by the rendition of Fabiha, Mainul promised her that he will create tune for this young singer.
Everything just happened the way Mainul wanted and Fabiha could hardly imagine! Meanwhile, Fabiha came to Bangladesh for a short visit. For the first time, she has lent her vocal to two original songs during her visit here. The songs are ‘Amar Chakkho Pure Gechhe’ written by Ferdous Hossain Bhuiyan and ‘Mon Jodi Chay’ written by Kabir Bakul.
Mainul Islam Khan said about Fabiha, “When I, for the first time, heard Fabiha to sing in Australia, I was so fascinated right away. I promised I will compose music for her. She rendered both the songs outstandingly.”
Fabiha said, “I am truly grateful to Mainul Islam Khan. He is a legendary music director of this country. He composed music for me and this is definitely a great achievement for me. I want his blessings all my life during my journey in the music world.”
During her visit here, Fabiha performed in the live shows on Channel I and Jamuna TV. She was scheduled to leave Dhaka for Australia last night.
To note, Fabiha is currently studying medical science at a university in Australia.
