16 Jamaat men held in Habiganj

Habiganj: Police in separate drives arrested 16 leaders and activists of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and its student body Islami Chhatra Shibir from different parts of the district from Sunday night to early yesterday, reports
UNB. A police team conducted the overnight drives in Bahubal, Lakhai, Nabiganj and Shayestaganj upazilas and arrested six leaders and activists of Jamaat and Chhatra Shibir. Police also recovered five crude bombs, crude bomb-making materials, some anti-government leaflets, jihadi books, one motorcycle and six mobile phone sets from their possessions.
