Housemaid �loots valuables making inmates unconscious�

A female domestic help allegedly looted valuables including gold ornaments and cash from a house at Khalishadah village in Kumarkhali upazila after making the house inmates unconscious by mixing sedative in their meal yesterday, reports UNB from Kushtia. The victims were identified as Shahidul Islam, a resident of Khalishadah village, his wife Rubina, and their daughters Sabina and Shimu. Relatives of the victims alleged that Shima, who used to work as a domestic help at Shahidul Islams house, mixed some sedatives at the meal of the house inmates. After taking the meal, the house inmates fell unconscious. Later, the housemaid allegedly looted valuables including gold ornaments and cash from the house and fled from the area. In the morning, neighbours found the house inmates unconscious and rushed them to 250-bed Kushtia General Hospital. Mahibul Islam, officer-in-charge of Kumarkhali Police Station, said they are trying to arrest the accused domestic help.
