The British Council is celebrating the Customer Service Week (CSW) in the country from the October 5 to 9. This event is devoted to recognising the importance of customer service and to honoring the people who serve and support customers each day, says a press release. Nazmul Hassan Papon, president Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB), as chief guest inaugurated the service week at a function yesterday. British Council Director Barbara Wickham, Deep Adhikari, Director Examinations Bangladesh and Zunayed Ahmed, Head of Customer Services delivered speech at the event. This year’s theme is ‘attracting, winning and retaining customers’, with a vision to deepen connection of the organisation and fulfill customer expectations in order to carry the organisation forward. During the week, British Council staff will take time to reflect on its current processes, review and respond to customer in different ways including online surveys and feedback channels. To make this event a success, the organisation is also arranging various activities, seminars, and online contests. Interested customers are requested to contact British Council to choose and register to a contest, seminar, or workshop.
