Textbook festival today

Textbook festival, marking the distribution of free textbooks among school and madrasah students, will be celebrated across the country today. Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid will distribute books at Azimpur Government Girls' School and College field around 9:30am. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina formally inaugurated the distribution of free textbooks on December 24. Meanwhile, Primary and Mass Education Minister Mostafizur Rahman Fizar will inaugurate the textbook distribution festival for pre-primary and primary students at Dhaka University's central playground at 11 am.
