2 held with hemp, mobile phone sets

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB-7) detained two women along with yaba tablets, cannabis and mobile phone sets from Moddom Halishahar of the Chittagong city on Saturday. The arrestees were Swapna Begum, 40, and Ranu Akhter, 27. In a press release RAB-7 said that acting on tip-off RAB conducted a drive at Moddom Halishahar, where the some alleged drug peddlers gathered for selling drugs. During the drive RAB seized 114 yaba tablets, 3kg cannabis, 17 mobile phone sets and Tk 44,360 from the duo.
