A colourful rally was brought out at Central Shaheed Minar in Dhaka University area yesterday marking the World Teachers’ Day, reports UNB. Teachers, students, different NGO’s including UNESCO, Campaign for Popular Education (Campe), ActionAid and Ahsania Mission attended the programme organised by World Teachers' Day 2015 National Observance Committee. The observance committee later arranged a discussion at Teacher-Student Centre (TSC) auditorium. Attending the programme as special guest, Global Campaign for Education president and former caretaker government adviser Rasheda K Chowdhury urged the government to implement the National Education Policy 2010 as soon as possible.
