Khulna RO receives death threat

Unidentified man has given death threat to Khulna Returning Officer Md. Helal Hossain yesterday (Monday) through a letter. Helal, who is also the deputy commissioner of Khulna, told BSS that he received a letter wrapped in an envelope yesterday through local post office. Through the letter, with no name and address, the letter writer threatened him with dire consequences for showing any partiality in favour of the government.  “Don’t play any trick, if you want to save the country, as well as the country men,” the writer threatened.
