Prisoner dies in Faridpur

A prisoner, who fell seriously ill in Faridpur district jail, died at Faridpur Medical College Hospital early yesterday. The deceased was identified as Ali Akbar Fakir, 80, of Ashapur village in Madhukhali upazila of the district. Abul Kalam Azad, jail super of Faridpur jail, said Ali Akbar was feeling sick early in the morning and he was rushed to Faridpur Medical College Hospital, where he died at around 5.45 am.
